Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Six days a week, one day off.
