Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Mahaska County, Iowa. The job is on a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands.
