Vertical transportation technician wanted in Sequatchie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Sequatchie County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Part-time with flexible hours.
