Furnace operator wanted in Craighead County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Craighead County, Arkansas. The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
