Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Modoc County, California. You will work on a lift modernisation project. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Your main tasks: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Part-time with flexible hours. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
