Steel fixer wanted in Yolo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Yolo County, California. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
