Vacancy available: aluminium TIG welder (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Russell County, Kentucky. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Six days a week, one day off.
