Patrol guard — Livingston County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a patrol guard in Livingston County, New York. You will work at a shopping mall. On a typical shift you will operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes; man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block. Ideal candidate: • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • Basic reading of English and local language for registers 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
