Fettler — Iredell County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Iredell County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
