Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in City of Norton, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
