Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in McDonough County, Illinois. The role involves grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. Requirements: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
