Vacancy available: concrete pump mate (Connecticut)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Your main tasks: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
