Gas metal arc welder • Chikun, Kaduna State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Chikun, Kaduna State. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
