You should have: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day The role involves backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate.
