Join our team: GTAW welder (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Pender County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
