Site safety steward — East Baton Rouge Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a manufacturing plant. The role involves verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
