HSE supervisor • Aurora County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a HSE supervisor in Aurora County, South Dakota. The job is in a chemical processing unit. On a typical shift you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
