Skimming plasterer • Napa County, California

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Napa County, California. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. What we are looking for: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Your main tasks: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
