Chiller technician — Sitka City and Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a chiller technician in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. You will work in an HVAC service company. Day-to-day duties: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
