Fabricator-welder — Demsa

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Demsa, Adamawa State. Day-to-day duties: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
