Now hiring: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Sandusky County, Ohio. You will be based at a supermarket cold-chain site. Your main tasks: • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
