Safety marshal — Aroostook County

Join our team: we are hiring a safety marshal in Aroostook County, Maine. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. On the job you will handle: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Full-time with occasional weekends.
