Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Gwandu, Kebbi State. You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day to day you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift.
