Automotive refinish painter • Ontario County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Ontario County, New York. Your main tasks: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
