Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Greater London, England. You will be based on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Day to day you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. £2,550 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
