Immediate opening: crane rigger (Pennsylvania)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. You will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
