Great opportunity: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Bonny, Rivers State. The job is on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions On a typical shift you will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
