Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in McNairy County, Tennessee. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
