Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Linn County, Oregon. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
