Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Fort Bend County, Texas. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness.
