Now hiring: hydraulic press operator (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Cocke County, Tennessee. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Part-time with flexible hours.
