Immediate opening: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Washington County, Kentucky. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Day to day you will strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble. Requirements: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
