Aluminium TIG welder • Dawakin Kudu, Kano State

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Dawakin Kudu, Kano State. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Pay around ₦230,000 per month, based on your experience.
