Scaffolding supervisor • Llano County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Llano County, Texas. You will work at a shipyard. You should have: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns On a typical shift you will tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
