Mobile crane operator • Wichita County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Wichita County, Texas. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. On a typical shift you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
