We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Osceola County, Florida. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day-to-day duties: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
