Commercial refrigeration engineer — Warren County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Warren County, Iowa. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Your main tasks: • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter You should have: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Full-time with occasional weekends.
