Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Decatur County, Georgia. The job is on a busy housing site. The role involves building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently 5+ years on the tools preferred.
