Commercial tyre fitter wanted in Essex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Essex County, Virginia. You will be based in a commercial truck tyre depot. Your main tasks: • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres Requirements: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Awareness of workshop health and safety At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
