Now hiring: scaffolding supervisor (Adamawa State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Jada, Adamawa State. You will be based at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips. You should have: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
