System scaffolder • Ogbia, Bayelsa State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Ogbia, Bayelsa State. The job is at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment Day to day you will set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts.
