Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto painter in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You should have: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Able to read and match factory paint codes Day-to-day duties: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish Rotating shifts. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
