Great opportunity: we are hiring a sausage maker in Oxford County, Maine. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Six days a week, one day off.
