Coating plant operator • Mahaska County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Mahaska County, Iowa. You will be based in a busy paint shop. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth Day to day you will cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
