Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Nemaha County, Nebraska. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Part-time with flexible hours.
