Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On a typical shift you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
