Short order cook — Sandoval County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a short order cook in Sandoval County, New Mexico. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. On a typical shift you will plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift. What we are looking for: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
