Now hiring: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Meade County, Kentucky. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. On a typical shift you will torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors. You should have: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Working-at-height certificate an advantage 6+ years on the tools preferred.
