Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale The role involves: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch 3+ years on the tools preferred.
