Gas metal arc welder — Prowers County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Prowers County, Colorado. Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 1+ years on the tools preferred.
